An Analysis Of The Creative Style And Performance Characteristics Of Modern Dulcimer Works With The Example Of Falling Flower Night

With the continuous development of the art and culture industry,folk music is gradually known and popularized in daily life.Dulcimer is a traditional instrument in our country,which has irreplaceable musical and historical cultural value.Of course,the development of dulcimer is closely related to the development of dulcimer works,no matter whether the techniques are mature or not.There always are some impressive works at different times.The new work Falling Flower Night can be said to be a masterpiece among the modern dulcimer works.This paper aims to explore the creative style and performance characteristics of modern dulcimer works based on Falling Flower Night.Falling Flower Night,created by Wang Se in 2008,highlights the portrayal of the artistic conception and the picture,which has taken in various new musical elements,and has used the silent and poetic musical language.The use of complex and changeable rhythm and tone enrich the form and content of this solo instrument and gives a new pursuit to dulcimer players.On the basis of Falling Flower Night,we should first know the history of dulcimer music and compare the differences between the traditional dulcimer and the modern dulcimer in these two aspects.And clarify the the innovation of techniques on creation and performance of modern dulcimer.This paper mainly uses the literature research method,the comparative analysis method,the inductive summary method and the spectrum example interspersed method,taking the modern dulcimer work Falling Flower Night as the access point,and through a small part to see the whole,which respectively analyzes and summaries the creative techniques,playing techniques and other aspects of modern dulcimer creation style and performance characteristics in a systematic way,I hope based on this paper research,to give more possibilities for dulcimer works to be created in the future.
