The Research Of Ye Qingchen And His Activities Of Discussing Politics In Northern Song Dynasty

Ye Qingchen lived in the two periods of Song Zhenzong and Song Renzong in the Northern Song Dynasty,but his political activities were mainly concentrated in the Song Renzong period.After entering the official career by the examination of the imperial examination,Ye Qingchen's official career of more than twenty years almost occupied half of his life's course.The period of Song Renzong is an era of many talented people in the Northern Song Dynasty,as a member of scholar-officials,Ye Qingchen's political fame was covered by many political stars,but he was still able to win the fame of "famous official".The middle period of the Northern Song Dynasty was an era of coexistence of social prosperity and crisis,A profound social crisis underneath the veil of prosperity.Ye Qingchen,who actived in this period,rely on the special identity of his imperial court officials,under the call of the sense of mission in the times,he often utilize the memorial to the throne and regard it as a weapon,to show the national problems that had emerged in front of Song Renzong.So those memorial to the throne which belong to Ye Qingchen,not only reflects his personality about upright and unyielding,as well as call a spade a spade,but also a strong attack on the gains and losses of the state's current political affairs.Even more,it is a true reflection of the situation of the country at that time.So,this paper will base on combing the family lineage of Ye Qingchen and his official career,and use his memorial to the thrones as the starting point of research,put him into the historical environment of that time,and from the discussing politics activities of Ye Qingchen's to make a more systematic study.Furthermore,The author hopes to analyze Ye Qingchen's activities of discussing politics and try to understand the social situation behind his activities.
