In recent years,there has been a boom in movies adapted from novels in China's domestic movie market.A large number of movies adapted from novels have achieved good box office performance with high topic discussions.It can be seen that the dissemination and discussion of the topic play a key role in the marketing of the movies adapted from novels.With the evolution of the communication mode of topic marketing,the system of topic marketing communication of movies adapted from novels is more perfect,and the means of topic marketing communication of movies adapted from novels are more pluralistic.Although many movies adapted from novels have a remarkable performance at the box office,but as an important part of the film market at present,its quantity is numerous,quality is uneven,there have been many problems in the implementation process of topic marketing communication of movies adapted from novels,and even disrupt the order of the film market.Based on this,this paper adopts the method of questionnaire,case analysis,literature analysis,the movies adapted from novels as the research object,combined with the correlative theory of topic marketing communication,to explore topic marketing communication of movies adapted from novels,topic marketing communication of movies adapted from novels are systematically analyzed.Firstly,unique features,overall development status and market environment of movies adapted from novels are analyzed,then analyse the communicators,the main communication tools,audience demand and stage of strategy of topic marketing communication of movies adapted from novels based on the status of movies adapted from novels.Further,combined with case studies,the paper analyzes the problems existing in the topic marketing communication process of movies adapted from novels,such as improper marketing and communication,ignoring the content of the works,over speculation and narrow circle marketing.Finally,combined with the psychological and behavioral characteristics of its audience,combined with the epochal and practical SICAS mode based on the principle of topic marketing communication,this paper puts forward five improvement strategies for the topic marketing communication of moviesadapted from novels.Based on previous studies,this paper further summarizes the ways of topic marketing communication of movies adapted from novels,innovates the way of topic marketing communication of movies adapted from novels,and enriching its topic marketing communication theory.At the same time,it extends the theoretical framework and model of the theory of topic marketing communication in the social media era,while extending the application of the topic marketing communication theory.
