In the daily conversation,or in the writing of e-mail,there are various language behaviors,in which the language behavior of the request performance is particularly difficult for the Japanese learners.In business occasions,when sending business mail to colleagues within the company or outside the company,it will especially test the language ability of the Japanese learners and the ability to distinguish interpersonal and social distance.The purpose of this thesis is to find out the politeness strategies used by the Chinese who work as Japanese learners in the multinational corporations to write business mail,and to find out whether the request performance is correct to distinguish the problem points of the use of the request in the business mail.This paper collects business mail from the actual existing multinational corporations as Chinese learners of Japanese.It mainly examines the direct request performance and indirect request performance,the request performance at various stages,and the differences in the request performance of the new employees who have received education or not.For this study,the author collected 304 business mail containing request performance from the actual multinational corporations as the data for this study,and made clear the following points.(1)After analyzing the direct request performance of the request and the frequency of the use of the indirect request,it is found that the most use of the direct request expression is "to the wish."The number of times used is about half of the number of use,then the high degree of politeness.In the performance of indirect requests,the most used are "to the top." According to the above results,the most frequent use is based on the basic request,and the politeness of the request is not high.(2)after analyzing the request performance of each stage,it is found that the number of requests used in the "formal request" stage is the most frequently,and then the number of use times is in the"post request" stage,and the number of direct request performance in the "formal request" stage is more than the indirect request.(3)after analyzing the request performance of the new employees,education acceptance or not,it is found that the number of direct request performance and indirect request performance used by the subjects who have received the new employee education is almost the same,but the number of times that the subjects who have not received the new employee education use the direct request performance are mostly the same.About 1.5 times as many times as an indirect request.The completion of this paper can provide a reference for Japanese learners engaged in Japanese education related work and Japanese learners who work in the multinational enterprises in the future.Besides,it is not only for those who want to master the writing methods of Japanese business mail,but also to the people who want to master the changing requests of the time to be the help of the study.
