Study On The Image Of Rural Children In Children's Documentaries

With the progress of urbanization,local China has undergone profound changes quietly,The living state of rural social groups,including rural children,has gradually aroused people's attention and become the focus of social attention.Children's documentaries that show the growth of rural youth become a window for audiences to understand the image of rural children.In the children's theme documentary,the creation of rural children is usually represented by rural children.It is displayed in the vast rural area and is a diverse rural children's group image.It conforms to the child-based theory and is suitable for children to watch.Since the beginning of the new century,children's documentaries have paid more attention to children in different social environments.Excellent works such as “Kindergarten”,“Little Country”,“Under the Sugar Tree”,and “The Song of Malan” have emerged.But overall,the records of rural children are mostly restricted to vulnerable children,problem children or left-behind children.They are mainly keen on the records of rural children's hardships,such as hard study and diligence and goodness,Lack of research that reflects the real-life and emotional world of normal rural children.Therefore,there is a certain degree of modelling of the records of rural children's images.The complexity and diversity of rural children's lives has been reduced to poverty or struggle.The children's hearts are filled with all sorts of wonderful ideas.In some documentaries,the colorful inner world of rural children is cut,which is summed up as a yearning for the city.To some extent,it reflects the compassionate humanistic care of the East.At the same time,it is also plunged into the dilemma of rural suffering narrative and stereotyped representation of children.In the vast documentary kingdom,there are fewer films that reflect the normal state of life of rural children and depict changes in modern rural areas.This article is based on the essential characteristics of children's thematic documentaries,combined with comprehensive knowledge of television arts,children's psychology,and sociology.Starting from the concept of child-orientation,it seeks to explore the restoration of the authentic and diverse image of rural children.First of all,this article combs the concept and development of children's theme documentaries.Based on this,combined with cases and creative practices,an in-depth analysis of the image of rural children in children's documentaries.This paper explores the problems in its creation,and tries to analyze the rural and stereotyped rural children under the narrative of misery.At the same time,combining the concept of "child-oriented",This paper discusses how to reproduce the three-dimensional rural children in children's documentary.From the concept of "children's standard" to understand rural children,children's aesthetic and thinking to show the image of children.From children's point of view,"squat down" to communicate with children;The diversity of rural children from the perspective of child acceptance.Apply children's viewpoints in the creation and master the balance between the creator and the children's aesthetics.Advocating the appearance of the work which accords with children's aesthetic expectation.In addition,this study combined with the graduation works “ Children of Sang Village Elementary School” for creative analysis.From how to explore the new image of rural children,as well as narrative structure,sound processing,lens language and other aspects of the development of Children's documentary advice,I hope to provide some references for enriching the children's imaging world and showing the image of new rural children.
