The Analysis On The Feasibility Of Combining Chinese Elements And The Art Performance Of International Standard Dance

The international standard dance,originating from the folk dances of various countries,was introduced into China in the 1930 s and belongs to the exotic dance.In recent years,with the integrative development between athletics and artistry of international standard dance,the art performing dance is becoming prevailing and appealing among the public in China.This paper takes the art performing dance that origins from international standard dance as the breakthrough point,and it mainly focus on the localization and nationalization development of the art performing dance in China.Examples of domestic outstanding works would be presented to analyze the present situation,existing problems,and gives the corresponding solution for integrating the "Chinese elements" with the international standard dance.For the future diversified development of the international standard dance,attempts to absorb the nutrition of traditional culture,and the reasonable use of own cultural characteristics,this paper aims to find an according path with Chinese characteristics to better accommodate to the international standard dance.
