With the development of piano art.Etudes have been frequently included in the repertoire of various concerts.The artistic value of etudes is reflected.No longer limited to a single finger exercise designed for a particular technical difficulty.It is to overcome the difficulties and to integrate artfully into the artistic conception.Thus,the genre of etudes is more meaningful and refined.From Liszt,this genre innovation is combined with title and technology.As an inheritance and development,Rachmaninoff’s “ etudes-tableaux”continuously improved the status of etudes.Taking op.39 no.1 as an example,this paper extends the deep meaning of the word " tableaux".This paper is divided into three parts.The first part outlines the life and work of Rachmaninoff.This paper content the background and content introduction of etudes.The second part elaborates op.39 no.1 creation background and composition analysis.The third part is classified according to Rachmaninoff’s creation characteristics in this work.And according to his own playing experience,he talked about interpretation.This paper focuses on the performance and further discusses the humanistic and dramatic charm of Rachmaninoff’s piano works.Thus,it can enlighten the players to better interpret the works.
