It is established for the study of ancient and modern scholars about Wang Xizhi.However,there are some neglected places.As we all know,the research about the people in Tang Dynasty studying Wand Xizhi is not involved too much.The main reason lies in the fact that the literature about calligraphy in Tang Dynasty are not plentiful.In these literature,there is no specific record in "Studying of Wang Xizhi" in Tang Dynasty.However,in recent years,a large number of unearthed epitaphs of Tang Dynasty have opened to us a door where we can have a better understanding of the problem.In the article,the main topic is how the people in middle and late Tang Dynasty learned the calligraphy of Wang Xizhi,which was divided into 4 parts.The first part is the process about how people advocated Wang Xizhi and then collected the Wang Xizhi".The second part is the introduction about how people learned Lanting Pavilion script.The third part is the study of Li Yong about how people learn Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy at that time.The fourth part is based on the "Sheng Jiao" as the core of the school system-The description of “Academy”.According to the Integrated missions,we can found that the ways that many literati learn Wang Xizhi are quite diversified in the middle and late Tang Dynasty.They will not only treat inscriptions as object of learning,but also regard the "Ding Wu Lanting Pavilion" reproduced by Ou Yangxun,Li Yong’s and Wu Tongwei’s writings as Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy.As a result,a more special method about how to learn Wang Xizhi’s calligraphy in Tang Dynasty was finally formed.
