The literary activities of Ding Ling and Wei Junyi have the characteristics of richness and complexity,which are closely related to their multiple identities through the contradiction and conflict between politics and literature,individuality and collective,women and revolution in their literary writing.Female,writers(intellectuals),revolutionaries,editors,cultural officials and other identities are all in one,and their identity or identity transmutation at different stages reflects the individual fate and heart journey of intellectuals in the process of China's modernization history,which reflects the complicated relationship between Chinese intellectuals and the revolution,politics and society.Based on the above understanding,the paper attempts to contact their rich and similar life experiences and compare their literary practices.The thesis mainly discusses about four aspects,those are,text analysis,Yan'an experience,the special period of “Seventeen years” and the state of their later years.The first chapter compares their literary writing under the same theme,and discusses the characteristics of The Times and the cultural significance of their creation.The second chapter is about the revolutionary selection and creative practice of them in the Yan'an period,comparing with these similarities and differences between their discourse and identity.Chapter three is to explore the conflict between literary identity and political identity under the enforcement of standardization in literary system.The fourth chapter analyzes the images of Ding Ling and Wei Junyi in their final years,and try to explain the historical necessity of their differences in a way of understanding of human beings and comments on human affairs.
