Beatrix Potter is a children's literature writer who lived in the Victorian era.She wrote more than twenty children's books, including The Tale of Peter Rabbit.Born of love for nature and the countryside,Potter built an ideal idyllic world in his fairy tales. From the purchase of a Hilltop Farm,Potter began to gradually turn his idyllic ideal into reality.Using royalties and inherited heritage,Potter purchased more than 4,000 acres of property in the Lake District. These properties were managed by Potter for the purpose of preserving the country's unique rural lifestyle. The property was donated to the National Trust to provide permanent protection for all Britons.Industrial society formed in the United Kingdom when Potter became a settler in the Lake District.Travelling to the Lake District was a popular leisure method at that time. The development of the tourism industry has had a huge impact on the environment of the Lake District and residents of the Lake District.Potter responded positively to this shock. To prevent the Lake District from being damaged by improper development,Potter conducted rescue purchases of Lakeland estates, preserved the characteristic Herdwick sheep in the Lake District, resisted the appearance of airplanes on Lake Windermere and protected the footpaths to the fells.Potter has made great contributions to the protection of the Lake District. The conservation of Lake District Nourished Porter's literary creation, the conservation of the core area of the Lake District provided a realistic basis for the establishment of Lake District National Park and made the Lake District a part of British national cultural identity.
