Franz Liszt,the most illustrious musician,composer and pianist in Hungary.He has created many excellent works of music in his life,and the majority of them are the piano works.liszt,as one of the outstanding representative in the 19 th century romanticism music,has been gotten the honor as the "king of piano" in the hearts of people.“The second piano ballade in b minor” was written in weimar,Germany in 1853.It is in the middle of liszt ’s life and this period he creatived too many excellent works.Although this piece is not so famous as the piano sonata in b minor in the same period,it also as a great masterpiece like eipc,still has great value to research.Based on “the second piano ballade in b minor" as the research object,according to this piece,this article is divided into three chapters,the first chapter is to introduct the characteristic of romantic music and the ballade,then describe the era background of this piece,the features of life experience and creation of the composer himself to describe the elaborated background of this piece.In the second chapter,by starting from its music ontology,this chapter makes a detailed music analysis of structure,music creation and style characteristics in this piece.The third chapter,based on the previous chapters,focuses on the performance techniques and the problems of music processing,and connect my own experience to make an analyze and interpretation of the performance to the piece.This article hopes to use the ways of researching the music analysis and the performance of this piece to find the profound connotation in this piece.
