Investigation And Research On The Current Situation Of Square Dance In Luoyang City

With the improvement of people's economic level,the enhancement of fitness consciousness and the increase of communication and interaction,square dance has been popular among people,which result in a rapid development of square dance.Mean while,Square dance,as a carrier of culture,has also attracted people's attention to the protection and publicity of culture.This research use the methods of literature,questionnaire and interview to investigate the present situation of Luoyang square dance and summarize the development situation for the purpose to excavate the traditional culture contained in the square dance and find out the existing problems.Main conclusion was made through analysing and some concrete strategies were puts forward in order to promote the development of Luoyang square dance,promote the implementation of national fitness,enrich the cultural connotation of square dance,protect and propagate the traditional culture,enhance the soft strength of Luoyang culture and enhance the influence of the city.Research results show:(1)The main part of Luoyang square dance is the middle aged and elderly people,mainly exercising in the square,park and other venues with voluntary organization type.(2)The source of funds is based on self-raised funds.(3)Luoyang square dance has some combination with traditional culture of Luoyang in music,dance,dress and so on.(4)The sound volume of Luoyang square dance exceeds the standard.Participants have less knowledge of sports science and less professional level of instructors.Corresponding suggestions are followed:(1)Conduct vigorous propaganda of square dance and strengthen the construction of sports facilities.(2)Increase capital investment and increase competitive activity.(3)Positively carry out the dance activities of Luoyang characteristic square.(4)Improving policies and measures to create a harmonious environment.
