The Research On Zhao Wenli's Yang Chun Bai Xue

Yang Chun Bai Xue is the collected works of Chinese Songci edited by the wandering literatus Zhao Wenli in Song Dynasty,it being rather important in all these Songci selections with its specialities.It contains eight formal volumes and one informal volume with the collected poems from the Northern Song Dynasty to the Southern Song Dynasty.It's famous for the large amount of the collected Songci by different poets in wide time span.The paper researches on the compiler Zhao Wenli and the process of spreading and changing of the different versions,analyzes the stylistic rules and layout,the intention,the selected standards and studies on the content and other aspects of the anthology comprehensively and systematically.It is deeply influenced and constrained by characteristics of the times and literati psychology at that time,world-altar background and chosen-altar background three aspects.However,the original version had been lost for a long time,and those now we can see were supplemented by later generations.Among all these versions,the representative ones included Wan Commission,Huang Pilie's carving copy,the version included in the Ci Poetry Series edited by Qin Enfu;and Qu Shiying's carving copy,Yue Ya Hall Series of books edited by Wu Chongyao,and the contemporary version edited by Ge Weijun.Yang Chun Bai Xue is edited specially according to the categories of melody.It is also edited as the variant of songs out of three kinds of intentions:to coordinate with songs for entertainment;to preserve and record history;to form sectarian.Based on the combination of Zhao Wenli's poetry thoughts and the surroundings of poetry society,it puts forward with three standards:the poetry style majoring in grace and assisted by boldness;cultural properties of the pursuing of elegance and the abstaining from vulgarities;attach importance to words and sentences,being strict in rhythm and melody.Yang Chun Bai Xue varies from the material types and focuses on three themes:love affair,chanting object and banishing trip.The collected Songci of passion describes amour affairs between lovers by the method of retrospection.Distinguished from poetry series which offer an exclusive selection of erotics,"Spring Snow"describes desalination of passion,in order to display elegance and integrity.Furthermore,it combines love affairs with patriotism and nostalgia.The chanting of objects is mainly about flowers and plants,thereby eulogizing its nobleness and virtuousness,as well as reminiscence on life experience and grief for the conquered nation.The life experiences of roaming,wandering are presented incisively and impressively,let alone the fragile heart of these wanderers touched by the alternation of time and seasons.Yang Chun Bai Xue is a collected Songci works edited for the wandering literati with a certain philological meaning in collation and compiling for scattered Songci in poetry history,It's also provide reference value for future generations.It faithfully records the styles and features of the Southern Song Dynasty,...
