A Study On Director Li Chengcai’s Financial Documentary

The emergence of documentary Wall Street has opened a new chapter in China’s financial and economic documentaries.Li Chengcai,the chief director of the Chinese Financial documentary Wall Stree,is also known as the "pioneer of China’s financial documentary."After Wall Street,he created several documentaries about finance and economics,such as Currency,The Road of Innovate.While maintaining a high professional standard,they also presented the personal style of the director.On the basis of the analysis and summary of Li Chengcai’s personal experience and works,this paper sums up and studies his creative technique and style.The paper can be divided into four parts.The first part analyzes the profile of China’s financial documentaries and summarizes Li Chengcai’s personal profile,financial documentary and personal style.In the second part,the author analyzes the implementation and embodiment of"humanism" in the financial documentary film directed by Li Chengcai."Humanism" is a kind of concern for human beings,which is embodied in the following aspects:people-oriented,people’s living state,spiritual life,human value and so on.In addition,it also pays attention to the overall living state and development direction of human beings.Focus on the ultimate meaning of humanity.Although financial documentaries are rational,calm and do not focus on people as the type of characteristics.However,in essence,economic activities are human activities.Economic activities in history come from the choice of people,economic development is closely related to people and determines the future development of human beings.Li has consciously set aside more space for "people" in his financial and economic documentaries.First of all,he spoke of finance and economics from the point of view of"man" and affirmed the spirit of "ordinary people" and "heroes",especially the transmission of the spirit of "heroes",guiding and encouraging the development of "civilian heroes" in various fields.Secondly,Li Chengcai observed and talked about finance and economics from the point of view of the country.He combed and narrated the world finance and economics from the national angle,in the global pattern and the historical sense to carry on the cognition and the exploration to the Chinese reality.The documentary has displayed a filmmaker’s suffering consciousness and the powerful country sentiment.Finally,his financial and economic documentary combs the history of human social and economic development.In order to realize the ultimate concern for human beings in the documentary,he constructs a three-dimensional and intuitive coordinate.In addition to "the rise of the country," he also has the ultimate goal and ultimate concern of "the rise of the world".In the third part,the author studies the "integrity" of Li Chengcai’s financial documentary."Integrity" refers to the relationship and interaction between human beings and the social culture on which they depend for their survival as a whole.It believes that each cultural element does not exist in isolation,and there is an inevitable link between various cultural phenomenon.Li Chengcai followed the individual narration on the basis of the grand narration,and from the small incision,completed the individualized expression of the grand narrative of the financial subject matter;On the communication of attitude and emotion,he analyzed the positive and negative aspects of capital market,finance and economy,which not only showed the power of wealth and money,but also did not deny the greed and gloom that followed.The director’s understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of the capital market made the attitude of the documentary more objective.He showed the audience a comprehensive capital market and financial world,and guided the audience to set up a correct view of money and wealth.In the fourth part,"Picturize" in Li Chengcai’s documentary film was reflected in the
