Application Of Lacquer Technique In Ceramic Decoration Design

Lacquer art and ceramics are Chinese traditional craftsmanship.The combination of lacquer and ceramics has existed since ancient times.There are two main ways to combine this process.One is Jinzao,which uses large natural lacquer as binder to repair defective objects,and the second is decorated with lacquer with ceramic as the matrix.This decorative technique can not only enrich the external forms of ceramic decoration,but also provide a broader design space for ceramic design,and is also an extension and development of ceramic comprehensive decoration.Through understanding Lacquer art and ceramic decorative art,looking for the characteristics of different materials,try to combine their feasibility,and pure ceramic materials can not achieve the results.With the help of different lacquer and ceramic materials,my works combine and correspond to each other to achieve the desired results in vision and shape.Through the material itself to explore its ceramic decorative art in the use of comprehensive materials flexibility.
