Martin Heidegger is the greatest philosopher of the twentieth century. His existentialism deeply influenced the course of modern philosophy. However, the fact that he was a Nazi and remained silent on the issue of Nazi after the war and refused to apologize led to reflection in the academic circle: Is this Heidegger's personal moral problem,or an inevitable consequence of his philosophy logic? The first chapter of the thesis discusses Emmanuel Lévinas and Maurice Blanchot's critique of Heidegger's existentialism, they found that there are traditional metaphysics remains deep down in Heidegger's philosophy, which was related to his ambiguity attitude towards Nazi. The second chapter discusses how Lévinas and Blanchot tried to chase away the totality idea in Heidegger's philosophy, respectively in literature and ethics way,and how these two measures interlinked and diverged. The third chapter takes Jacques Derrida and Michel Foucault as the example to discuss how following philosophers criticize and inherit their ideas, walk away from traditional metaphysics like Heidegger and continue to make progress in this course.
