In recent years,with the rapid development of animation industry,the demand for animation talents is also increasing,while for the animation specialty,want to have a good animation works,except skilled software operating level,the animation manufacture personnel should also have the ability to innovate,but now most of the training for cultivating the students' innovative ability in the animation education in the secondary vocational schools is not enough.Skills competition has set up a good platform,through this platform,it can promote the teaching reform effectively.In animation training courses,they can combine skills competitions,to create favorable environment to cultivate students' ability to innovate,by making entries to stimulate students' creative desire,let the skills competition to become a new way to develop the innovative ability of students.Starting from the author's own teaching experience of guiding the students to participate into the competition,this article combines a large amount of network data and books and documents,uses the animation specialty students in the joint technical secondary school as the research object,through the literature research,questionnaire survey and action research etc.methods to make the study,bases on the related documentation and my own teaching experience of guiding the students to participate into the competition,sums up the process and effect of skills competition for innovative ability training of the animation specialty students,analyzes the current situation of animation specialty students' innovative ability and the reasons why the students lack of innovation ability,it has summarized how to create the environment conducive to the students' innovative ability,stimulate students' creative desire,cultivate students' innovation ability through the skills competition.This article is divided into six parts,the first part is the introduction,introduced the putting forward of the problems,the animation industry lacks of innovative skilled talents,the animation specialty in many secondary vocational school ignores the cultivation of innovation ability of the students,the significance of research,related concepts,literature review and research methods at home and abroad respectively;The second part is the relevant theoretical basis for the students' innovative ability training,any research requires a certain theoretical basis for support.The third part is the current situation analysis of innovative ability training in the secondary vocational school animation students,it points out that the students lack of innovative consciousness and the existing problems in the innovative ability.The fourth part puts forward that using the skills competition to promote education reform in animation specialty,this can strengthen the improvement of teachers' ability to innovate,change the education concepts,it has grouping teaching in the animation specialty practical training courses,make each group take the entries as the training course projects,create the education space and activities which are beneficial to the innovative thinking of the students by the skills competition,to cultivate the students' innovation consciousness.In the fifth part,the author combines my own teaching experience of guiding the joint technical secondary school animation specialty students to participate into the competition,and the practice research on the implemented skills competition on the innovative ability training of the technical secondary school animation specialty students.The sixth part is the conclusion and suggestions,it points out that through the action research,it can prove that in the process of entry guidance of skills contest,it can consolidate the theoretical knowledge and skills,cultivate students' innovative thinking,conducive to the formation of the students' innovative personality.Thus it can cultivate and improve the students' innovation ability.
