The study of the Mongolian oral narrative classics-Hurrin Wulger meets the needs of the intangible cultural heritage.This paper studies the Hurrin Wulger-"The Story of Kublai Khan"from the perspective of narratology,and makes a comparative study of the oral and written texts,and probes into the oral narrative form and the oral narrative art.“The story of Kublai Khan" is one of the two Yuan Dynasty stories that Hurchi Baoyannemhu had sung at the Arhurqin Palace.The text of the“Kublai Khan Story" was compiled by Siqingowa and published by Inner Mongolia Education Press in 1997.The verbal texts selected Hurchii Shuang cheng and Shuang he recorded 20 hours and 30 chapters of recording materials in Inner Mongolia TV Station and Tongliao TV Station in 2012.The paper consists of an introduction,a summary,an appendix and three main parts.The introduction part explains the reasons for selecting the topic,the use of raw materials,research overview,research significance,purpose,and research methods.The first chapter makes a comparative study of the verbal texts and the chapters and subject contents of Hurrin Wulger "The Story of Kublai Khan" and puts forward the differences between oral narrative works and written literature.In contrast,verbal texts have reduced sections of the text,battlefield descriptions,and sections on Taoism and the soul andadded the poetry,exchange of letters between the two sides,battlefield portrayal and detailed depiction.The second chapter explores the oral narrative mode and form of Hurrin Wulger-"The Story of Kublai Khan ",summarizing the prelude,the beginning,the core plot,the ending and the dissolution of the story.The model proposes an image depicting polarization patterns.In addition,it points out the similarities and differences in the details of the oral texts and the textual motifs.At the same time,it is considered that the oral texts are full of stories,theatrical stages,and narrative forms combining narrative and lyricism.The third chapter discusses the oral narrative art of Hurrin Wulger-"The Story of Kublai Khan " from both the narrative and the narrative time,and puts forward his own point of view.This Hurrin Wulger 's storyline has narrative patterns and stylized descriptions and narrative features of the phrases such as occurrence,development,climax,and ending.There are also narrative forms such as narrative time,natural time,legendary time,and dramatic time,as well as the positive role played in the story narrative structure.In short,the oral text of Hurrin Wulger-"The Story of Kublai Khan " adds a lot of content to the written text and has done a lot of re-creation.For example,the increase,decrease,expansion,and adaptation of some chapters are very clear.Hurrin Wulger-The Story of Kublai Khan not only achieved the narrative and theatrical unity,but also embodied the narrative form of combining narrative and lyricism.The narrative art discussed from three aspects:narrative,description,and phrase.In general,it was structured and programmed.The appendix section summed up the storie's section and catalogue,based on the author's carefully listening to the oral texts of Hurchi Shuangcheng,Shuanghe.
