Research On Dali Bai Nationality Proverbs

The proverb of the Bai nationality is an important part of the Bai folk literature,and is the characteristic wealth created by the Bai people.In the centuries-old history,Bai's proverbs not only survived the baptism of years,but also passed down from generation to generation relying on their short structure and profound principles,and even gave out more gleams of intelligence.Folk proverbs are widely spread among the people.As the saying goes "it's better to use folk proverbs than rack one's brains for finding a metaphor".Proverbs often play an important role in the daily expression of the people,and the refined language expresses the complex and profound principles thoroughly and enriches the expression of the language,so that the listener is enlightened and educated in a relaxed atmosphere.The proverbs of the Bai are the essence of the wisdom of the Bai people,including the unique national customs,which are the comprehensive reflection of the material life and spiritual life of the Bai people.Based on the above significance,the study of the proverbs of the Bai nationality takes Bai People's proverbs as the objects,and the corpus is derived from the Bai People's proverbs,which has been collated and published.This paper mainly uses the method of literature analysis,combining the theoretical viewpoint of folklore and anthropology to study the connotation of the Bai's proverbs.The introduction describes the reasons for the study,the present research status of proverbs,related concepts,research significance and research methods.This paper classifies the proverbs of the Bai nationality in the first chapter.The paper first sorts out the classification of the predecessors.Then,on the basis of previous studies,combined with the classification of folklore and taking semantic as the classification standard,also help the classification of proverb of the Bai nationality becomes clear.This is also the first step in the study of bai nationality proverbs.The second chapter,from the perspective of folklore and cultural anthropology,discusses the functions of the Bai proverbs that are the folklore function and thecultural function.It is helpful to dig into the function of bai nationality proverbs.The third chapter discusses the value of the proverbs of the Bai nationality,which mainly includes two aspects of social value and literary value.In the concluding part,the paper induces again the classification,functions and values of the proverbs of the Bai nationality,and finally points out the shortcomings in the study.
