Psychological Assessment Tools For Ethnic Identity

Through the concept of national identity,it is learned that individual ethnic identity is constructed from two levels of content: self-experience and experience;macro national narrative and political organization.There are two aspects of individual ethnic identity: rational cognition and judgment;irrational emotions and feelings.Based on this connotation and nature,the study compiled the “Chinese National Identity Psychological Factor Scale”.The scale has six elements: national identity,relevance,importance,closeness to culture,ideological convergence,utilitarianism.Sex.The problem of identity is a problem of meaning.Individuals can grasp and feel the self meaning of identity by reflecting on the existence and meaning of self.Based on this,this study studies and demonstrates the psychological essence of ethnic identity psychology from two different ways of reflection.The first is self-reflection of the ethnic elements in the meaning of life,and the compilation of the "National Identity Scale for True Ethnicity";the second is to trace the ethnic elements in the construction of self-meaning,and compile the text of self-experience structure of ethnic identity.In the initial survey,115 questionnaires were collected as the basis for modifying the test questions,and their reliability and validity were tested.After the revision,formal questionnaires were formed.The formal test collected 329 questionnaire data and 20 texts for reliability,validity test and analysis.Research result:(1)The nature and connotation of ethnic identity: As a psychological whole,individual national identity is a product of self-construction and macro-construction.It manifests itself in two aspects: rational cognition and irrational emotion.The macro-constructed national identity is centered around three relationships: the relationship between "us" and history,the relationship between "us" and the exclusiveterritory,and the relationship between "us" and culture.Self-constructed national identity comes from three forms of self-existence: the existence of self-subjectivity,the existence of historical self,and the existence of self-relationship.Non-rational identity is expressed as a tendency of emotion or attitude.Rational identity is expressed as a judgment or choice based on cognition or cognition.(2)The psychological essence of identity: The individual gains self-meaning by finding self-historical function and self-historical existence and relationship.(3)The "Chinese National Identity Psychological Factor Scale" can better reflect the nature and connotation of the Chinese national identity;"The True National Identity Scale" and the text of the national identity self-experience structure can better reflect the psychological essence of identity.(4)The “Chinese National Identity Psychological Factor Scale” and the “Native Ethnic Identity Scale” have good reliability and validity.(5)"Chinese National Identity Psychological Factor Scale" can be used as an effective tool to study the construction status of Chinese national identity in different groups of people.Among them,the absolute score and fusion value of the two indicators can make the population's national identity psychological status truly effective.The distinction.
