Silk-screen printing is one of the most potential editions of the printmaking family.Its emergence and development have injected new vitality into the art of painting.In the creation of silkscreen prints,color language is a key component and expression technique.It allows the artist's ideas and emotions to be more fully expressed,especially in the application of color language..Silkscreen prints have unique artistic charms due to their own "flatness","indirect replicability",and high degree of generality of colors.Under the integration and expansion of new media,silkscreen prints are better than others.The species is more diversified.This thesis will analyze the concept,research application and significance of color language in silk screen print creation through four chapters.First of all,a brief overview of the history of screen printing,the status quo at home and abroad,as well as the social and artistic value brought to us,shows the significance of the study.The first chapter discusses the basic theoretical knowledge of color,analyzes the role of color science in the art of painting,and expounds the characteristics of color in screen printing.The second chapter selects representative contemporary artists of different styles of screen-printing works for comparative analysis,and summarizes the color language characteristics of screen-printing.The third chapter combines individual graduation works and starts with color blocks,print marks,and color overlay language to study the diversity of language performance characteristics in the “Urban Landscape Series” to explain how the author applied the ontology language of screen printing to Graduation creation practice innovation.The fourth chapter concludes by summarizing the conclusions of the above inquiry,the overall value of color language for screen printing,analyzing and exploring its aesthetic value in artistic creation,and the future of screen printing.The author hopes to open a new perspective window from a new perspective through the study of the color language of screen-printing,so that we can break through self in creative practice.
