Research On The Integration Of Rumba Performance Dance Into Chinese Elements

Objective: The excellent Rumba Performance Dance requires not only a certain level of technology,but also a reasonable arrangement and innovative ideas.In the arrangement of Rumba Performance Dance,only by innovating the artistic expression of dance,can the vitality of the works be maintained.And then let it develop in China in a good and fast manner.In order to make the Rumba develop better in our country,we can combine choreography with Chinese elements.On the basis of following the basic choreography elements of the rumba performance dance,The reasons for the integration of rumba performance dance into Chinese elements and the ways of integration are studied,find out the problems and ways to integrate Chinese elements,It will provide some theoretical references for the study of the integration of rumba performance dance into Chinese elements in the future.Methods: Rumba integrated into Chinese elements is regarded as the research object.This paper summarizes,collates,and analyzes 12 Rumba videos with Chinese elements in Rumba Performance Dance by using literature research methods,expert interviews,video analysis methods,and logic analysis scientific research methods to find out the problems existing in the integration of Chinese elements and put forward feasible suggestions.Conclusion:(1)When Chinese elements are integrated into Rumba performance dance,the basic elements of Rumba perfomance dance should be the basics,which include movement element,element of time and space,music element and style characteristic.(2)The integration of Chinese elements into Rumba performance dance conforms to the development trend of sports and literature and art globalization.(3)In this paper,the successful case shows that the integration of Chinese elements into Rumba performance dance is feasible.And the main Chinese element which is integrated is music.(4)The main problems in the process of integrating Chinese elements into Rumba performance dance are the superficial,formalized and fragmented understanding about Chinese elements.(5)The way to integrate Chinese elements into Rumba performance dance is mainly from five aspects: Chinese music,costume,movement,theme and prop.Suggestions:(1)In the integration of Chinese elements,the original characteristics of Rumba should not be lost.On the one hand,the core status of Rumba should be determined.On the other hand,the choreography of Rumba should be the foundation.(2)In order to create the work of Rumba performance dance with Chinese elements,which can be accepted by judges and audiences,the author shouldlearn the differences between Chinese and Western cultures,the development trend of globalization and the cultural background of the judges and the audiences during the competition or performance.(3)It is recommended that all walks of life in the society could provide more media propaganda platform of integrating Chinese elements into Rumba performance dance,or organize more performance competitions at home to perfect Rumba’s development channels in China and then further expand the recognition and understanding of the integration of Chinese elements into Rumba performance dance.(4)To make the application of Chinese elements in Rumba performance dance become more scientific and reasonable and avoid superficiality and formalization,it is necessary to continuously strengthen choreographer and dancer’s learning of the basic theoretical knowledge and skills of Rumba performance and Chinese elements.(5)In the selection of music,firstly,the beat and rhythm of the music should noticed,and then the changes in the melody should be focused.In the selection of clothing,it should fit the theme of the performance on the basis of custom-made clothes.In the selection of movements,it is suitable to integrate Chinese element.However,the features of the original Rumba movements should not be destroyed.And the selection of props must be prudent.
