Since the 21 st century,new technologies,global competition and communication,social networks,and rapidly growing knowledge have created a complex and interconnected world.In particular,it is the transformation of the economic field,and the economic structure and system of many countries have taken a qualitative leap and development.Society is a circle,and the economics,politics,culture and education influence each other.The rapid change and development of the economic structure system and the changes in social life have put forward corresponding new requirements for talents,and new knowledge and skills have been paid more and more attention.Therefore,the new development situation of the world also puts forward higher requirements for education,which requires a new teaching design and education method.And in the field of basic education,many countries consider the abilities of innovation,problem asking,problem solving and adapt to economic globalization as an important goal of national cultivate talents person.But the key question is how do you master these skills and abilities?Based on this concept,since 2012 the United States 21 st century skills cooperation organization successively formulated the 21 st century skills framework,various disciplines of the 21 st century skills guide and white paper on assessment in the21 st century and so on,all are designed to help the educated better adapt to the development of the society in the future.This subject is based on the American 21 st century skill as research background,the 21 st century skills map(The Arts)as the research object,interpretation and analysis of the art map,it provides reference and enlightenment for the implementation of education reform and core competencies in our country.About the arts of the 21 st century skills map,namely 21 st century skills map(The Arts),is the 21 st century skills cooperation organization and the national art education workers cooperation design education guidelines.The guidelines for each specific capacity respectively gives the definition and about 4 age,grade 8,and 12 age specificcase,showed us how teachers teach these skills in arts,and can be connected with other subjects is applied in practice.The examples in this guide also illustrate how art can improve learner’s work habits and cultivate their curiosity,imagination,creativity and evaluation skills.The full text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the background introduction of American skills in the 21 st century,which starts from three aspects:background,theory foundation and development process.The second chapter mainly introduces the connotation and education concept of American “21st century skills”,and uses the rainbow diagram to represent the framework of 21 st century skills.The essence of 21 st century skills is the core competencies and Values of the 21 st century,and the core is the fusion of 3R and 4C.In the end,the paper analyzes the concept of education,which are the Cultivation of thinking and the ability of acquisition.The third chapter begins with the theme of the 21 st century skills map(The Arts),which introduces its background and contents.First to illustrate the relationship between American “21st century skills”and American art map,and then respectively discuss the history of American art education development,The transformation of art education’ ideology and its source and origin.Then,we will focus on the definition,framework and specific contents of the art map.The fourth chapter is the analysis and interpretation of the art map,explained the characteristics of the art map with its promulgation and implementation,with a few based on the specific case of the art map interpretation of the 21 st century skills in the concrete implementation way of arts.The last chapter are conclusion 、 enlightenment and the significance for our country.Since the “21st century skills” introduced in every states have achieved good results,and development to the present,made a remarkable achievements,and has trained a large number of highly qualified talents for the United States in the 21 st century,improve the quality of the American basic education.Based on the research of it,the author sums up four contents,the first is pay attention to the connectivity of curriculum content;the second is emphasize the students’ subjectivity;the third is implementing diversified art-interdisciplinary contact and the fourth is maintain the uniqueness of the arts.The core accomplishment of education,the integration of art education and the assessment of art education have brought enlightenment to the reform of education in China.The above is the author’s preliminary study and discussion on The Analysis and study the American 21 st century skills map(The Arts).
