Study On Kant's Deduction Of Pure Concepts Of The Reason

Deduction is crucial to the construction of Kant's epistemological system.In Critique of Pure Reason,Deduction is a significant clue around which Kant expended his transcendental philosophy.Kant,in the part of transcendental analysis,divided the deduction of the pure concepts of the understanding into the metaphysical deduction and the transcendental deduction,which consequently achieved the discourse of “the logic of truth”.Correspondingly,in the part of transcendental dialectic,Kant also implied the special deduction of concepts,that is,the deduction of the pure concepts of the reason which,like the deduction of the pure concepts of the understanding,is also divided into the metaphysical deduction and the transcendental deduction.The metaphysical deduction aims to analyze reason itself to seek the origin and reveal the complete system of the pure concepts of reason,while the purpose of the transcendental deduction is not only to help us grasp and use the pure concepts of reason accurately,in order not to be caught by “the transcendental illusion”,but also to demonstrate the unique role of the ideas as the schema of the regulative principles.In Kant's view,not only can we illuminate “the logic of illusion”,but we can also reveal the ultimate intentions of human reason by means of the deduction of the pure concepts of the reason.In the meantime,the deduction marks the accomplishment of the critique of pure reason.As a result,we can argue that the deduction of pure concepts of the reason is not merely an important part of Kant's theory of knowledge,but is associated with the construction of his whole critical philosophy.More importantly,the research on Kant's deduction of pure concepts of the reason can enhance our understanding of the Practice Turn in contemporary philosophy,and facilitate the global governance a “Kant's Strategy”.
