China entered the era of great geographical communication in the third and sixth centuries,And a large number of population movements and frequent exchanges between China and foreign countries have greatly broadened the horizon of the people, which is the reason why the geographic accounts are beginning to emerge.Among them, there are several kinds of south China sea geography books referred in this paper in addition to a large number of states and counties. This kind of literature can be divided into two categories according to the author's identity: one for the envoy;another for buddhist practice. Both of them are direct products of the observation of the foreign countries because of the differences between the observer status and the knowledge composition while the main contents of the two kinds of documents and the concept of the world are very different. The foreign world described by the emissaries is more authentic and authentic.Although it is largely free from the fantasy narrative represented by the book of mountains and seas,it still can't get rid of the influence of cathaysian central view.On the contrary,it has become a "filter" for emissaries to observe the exotic.Through this filter, the cultural landscape and the production custom of different from huaxia are deliberately enlarged. The purpose is to explain and defend the central position of huaxia culture to prove the so-called "yixia order",and then seek a cultural identity. However,it is entirely different from the buddhist practice. The buddhist practice focuses on the author's experience of the tour, which shows a great deal of the psychological identity of the buddhist country and the concept of tianzhu as the center. The two distinct narratives and concepts were parallel in the whole of the third and sixth centuries, even though there was a lot of heated debate. But the two systems of knowledge are organically integrated in the tang and song dynasties due to the compilation of large books. The way of integration is the standard model of "four yi" written in official history, namely,"the eastern yi-xirong-nanchang-beidi",which is not only the elimination of the knowledge boundary caused by the harmony of the three religions, but also the new creation of the exotic, and the result of the shaping is an imaginary world. In this world of ideas, the cathaysian view of the world has been further strengthened. The south China sea geography book was written throughout the three to six centuries while mainly concentrated in The Three Kingdoms of the two jin and liu song dynasty.Among them, there are about 5 of them and the remaining 14 are buddhist. All of these geographical books have lost their lives except the legend of the law,and their lost time is mostly in the tang and song dynasties. The important reason is the compilation of large books in the tang and song dynasties, which also created the conditions for the subsequent compilation. It was the first time to compile the work of the six dynasties' Nanhai geography book, and then there were scholars such as Chen Yun-wen,Xiangda,Cen zhongmian,Xu yunqiao,Liu weiyi,Chen Lianqing and Li dehui. However, the collection of Mr.Yu's collection has not been able to cover all of the south China sea geography books visible today. It is better to compare the books of the families,"the foreign geography lost book in the Jin and Song dynasties" by Ceng zhongmian and "the song and the song of the song dynasty" by Li dehui. The two people not only have the extracts of words, but also the corresponding classification and collation, and annotate the sources of literature. In addition,Xu yunqiao's compilation of "the foreign collections of the Kangtai wu" is also very distinctive.Besides the textual collation, there are also the corresponding names of the interpretation. However,It should be noted that there is still a loss of the individual geography books(e.g.,"Lin yi ji").
