In today's vast sea of chorus works,a considerable part of the adaptation works,most of these works are from the adaptation of vocal music works.However,With the improvement of singing level in professional chorus,the need of singing technique development and the pursuit of different musical styles by chorus director,the existing chorus can not fully meet the needs of professional chorus.Part of the conductor began to use instrumental music to adapt the chorus.The harmony,structure and texture of instrumental music are more complex,the range of sound is wider and the timbre is more varied than the chorus work,And the voice has a strong artistic expression.Although the vocal range is not as wide as instrumental music,the general mixed chorus range can reach the piano keyboard four octaves or more.After a scientific and rational adaptation,professional choirs are capable of performing such works,so the study of the works of instrumental music is of great significance to the present choral art.Based on the analysis and study of choral adaptation of instrumental music works in different periods,this paper starts from the aspects of voice distribution,range,timbre,performance and singing.Compare the advantages and disadvantages of the adapted chorus with the original,The following are the main types of choral adaptation: 1.Complete Transplantation: Transplanting instrumental music directly into a chorus,with little change in the structure,melody and harmony of instrumental music.2.Partial Transplantation: The main purpose is to change part of the melody or harmony of instrumental works and to preserve the original structure.3.Series Burns: Incorporating the subject elements of many instrumental works into the chorus and connecting them in the form of serial burnings,Making it a new chorus.Through the analysis of choral adaptation of instrumental music works,we can better understand the advantages and disadvantages before and after the adaptation,and master the techniques of adaptation,so that the choral conductor can help in theory and practice in the rehearsal of instrumental chorus works.In addition,the author also expects more excellent instrumental music singing works to be adapted by the composer,to expand the more abundant singing form,to promote the development of the chorus career.
