Salvation theory is one of the basic issues of Christian theology. It can even be said that the theory of salvation is the true core of Christian theology. When every theologian constructs his own theory on any part,he must ultimately point to how to give an answer to salvation.Origen of Alexandria(185-254 C.E.)was the first systematic theologian in the history of the church and also the greatest godfather of the ancient Eastern Church. He devoted his life to the biblical commentary. His unique allegorical method of interpretation has far-reaching implications. The concept of salvation held by Origen is universalism, which is the belief that all things will eventually be saved. This view caused controversy in later generations and eventually led him to be convicted of heresy.Origen's "Commentary on the Epistle to the Romans." may be the earliest exegetical work on the Romans in the history of the church. This book was written between 244 and 246 years ago.At the same time,"Commentary on the Epistle to the Romans." it is also the only one of all Origen exegetical books that is preserved from the beginning to the end. There are great style differences between Origen's expository text and its systematic theological writings. In "Commentary on the Epistle to the Romans.",Origen's interpretation of the theological themes such as sin, free will, grace, and soul is gradually revealed. An ideal picture of salvation was produced.Origen has always tried to use the rational thinking of Greek philosophy to find an intrinsic basis for Hebrew traditional beliefs. This is also reflected in his interpretation works. The interpretation of various aspects of the theme of salvation in the course of the "Commentary on the Epistle to the Romans." reflects the traces of the fusion of the two Greek civilizations.
