| With the development of science and technology,new media have developed rapidly.As a popular network communication medium,Micro-blog’s unique transmission mechanism and concise text requirements determine the peculiarity of its language.Language is a very important carrier of Micro-blog information transmission.Therefore,the research on Micro-blog language has emerged.With the change of the network environment,the language of Micro-blog demonstrates the feature of “variability”.Through the analysis of the collected literature,the research on the Micro-blog language focuses mostly on two aspects: marketing and communication.Studies of the Micro-blog language itself are relatively rare.Memetics is a theory that explains how memes replicate and transmit.The relationship between language and memes is complementary.Language is regarded as the carrier of the transmission of memes and memes can promote the development of language.This thesis,by using of Memetics as a framework,tries to explain and analyze the replication and transmission of Micro-blog language variation memes.The corpora of this thesis come from Sina Micro-blog,selected from the top 50 stars’ Micro-blog and 10 news media’s official Micro-blog.These Micro-blogs are used as the basic corpus for the present study.And some variations of Micro-blog are picked out.From the perspective of Memetics,this thesis analyzes these variations.It concludes four types of variation memes in Micro-blog language: phonological variation,lexical variation,punctuation variation and other symbols variation.It also explains how the Micro-blog language variation memes are replicated and transmitted,so as to reveal the reasons for the replication and transmission of the Micro-blog language variation.The analysis of Micro-blog language variation makes us have a deeper understanding of the development rules of Micro-blog language and the combination of Memetics theory also provides a new perspective for Micro-blog language research in the future. |
