The Historical Origin And The Statue Style Of Guangfu Temple

From the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Western Jin Dynasty,Qi Guoguo was strong.From the previous week to the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States period,Qingzhou Prefecture belonged to Qi State,and Qin Dynasty belonged to Linyi County.The affiliation and geographic location are adjacent.According to the laws of Buddhism,Qingzhou Buddhism can be considered to have been affected by Lintong,and it began in the Ashoka era.From the Western Jin Dynasty to the early Ming Dynasty,Qingzhou replaced Linyi as the political center of Shandong.Due to the fact that the level of political status determines the extent of the prosperity of Buddhism to a certain extent,from the Jin Dynasty to Liu Song,Qingzhou Buddhism achieved rapid development.Since then,Qingzhou has entered the territory of the Northern Wei Dynasty and was affected by the dual factors of the supreme ruler of Northern Wei and the economic prosperity of Qingzhou.Buddhism developed rapidly and entered the peak period of the first temple.Guangfu Temple thus became the end of the Northern Wei Dynasty.During the Northern Dynasties,the prosperity and development of Guangfu Temple formed the “broad blessing style” in this article.It was one of the main carriers and manifesters of the “Qingzhou Style” in this period.The Northern Dynasties were extremely Buddhist,resulting in a sharp increase in the number of monasteries and monks and nuns,and the growing trend of statues.Buddhism has developed into an uncontrollable situation.When the Buddhism of the Northern Zhou Dynasty killed the Buddha,the Buddhism and Buddhism of the Guangfu Temple turned into a trough.The establishment of Sui Dynasty was the turning point of the decline of Qingzhou Buddhism after Zhou Wufa's hardship.At this time,Guangfu Temple had its place in Qingzhou due to the stupa and then declined due to the transfer of the focus of the Qingzhou Buddhist activities.After the Song Dynasty,the development of Guangfu Temple and Qingzhou Buddhism were in the same situation and gradually declined.After the war in the Republic of China,it was dethroned.In 2005,this millennium ancient temple that had been dusty for nearly two centuries was rebuilt on its site.Its unique cultural functions and educational functions have begun to appear in the present.This article is in chronological order and is divided into five parts.The first part discusses the reason of choosing the topic,the significance of research,the relevant research summary,the research goal and the research method adopted.The second part defines the area of Qingzhou under study and briefly reviews the history of Qingzhou before the temple was built and the development of Buddhism,laying the groundwork for the construction of Guangfu Temple.The third part analyzes the reasons for the establishment of the temple in Guangfu Temple and the formation of the Guangfu style in the Northern Dynasty.It also explains the factors that influence the form of the statue from the perspective of cultural integration.The fourth part introduces the rejuvenation during the Sui and Tang Dynasties and the progressive after the Song Dynasty in Guangfu Temple.The fifth part summarizes the reconstruction of the Guangfu Temple and the social and cultural functions of the contemporary Guangfu Temple.
