A Study Of Mao Mingqi's Poetry

Mao Mingqi,a well-known poet in Fujian during the Ming and Qing dynasties,was described by Zhou Lianggong as a "special man" who broke the fence of the Minzhong poetry school.His poetic thought represented the early appearance of Jin'an 's poetry at the time of Shunzhi and Kangxi.His poetry creation shows the inheritance and breakthrough of the Minzhong poetry school.However,it has not aroused the attention of the current academic circles,even in the field of regional literature studies,it is only a simple mention,and has not formed a systematic and comprehensive study.Based on "the full Collection of Cai Gentang",this article outlines Mao Mingqi's life and friendship by referring to historical materials such as Fuqing County Chronicle and Fujian Tongzhi,and makes a preliminary analysis and Discussion on Mao Mingqi's poetic ideological content,poetic thought and comparison with Minzhong's poetry.The introduction part mainly narrates the basis of the topic selection,sorts out the relevant materials of Mao Mingqi or his poems so far in ancient China,and clarifies the research direction of the thesis.The first chapter to the fourth chapter is the text part.The first chapter mainly introduces Mao Mingqi's life experience,acquaintance,and the retention of his works,and makes a brief supplement.The second chapter focuses on the five prefaces of "the full Collection of Cai Gentang",mainly analyzes that Mao Mingqi's selection of preface objects is mainly due to celebrity effect and friendship,and the preface writer's evaluation Mao's poems at different levels.The preface has significance for the ancient and modern people to understand Mao Mingqi's poetry achievement.The third chapter explores the characteristics of Mao Mingqi's poems in terms of ideological content.The content of Mao Mingqi's poems is very rich.This chapter intercepts the more characteristic content.It mainly analyses Mao Mingqi's poems of chanting local customs and scenery,poems of mourning themes,and poems of the disorderly feeling of Yi Dai.The fourth chapter mainly discusses Mao Mingqi's understanding of traditional poetics,and contrasts Mao's poetry with the poetic style in central Fujian,to probes into the differences between Mao Mingqi's poetry style of advocating Han,Wei and Tang dynasties and the poetic tradition in the Minzhong Poetry,to analyzes the factors of Fujian poetry style contained in the seclusion and fade of poetry style.And it reveals the poet's consciousness of self-conscious change of the Minzhong poetry style.Through a comprehensive study of Mao Mingqi's poems,this article attempts to clarify the significance of Mao Mingqi's poems in the development ofFujian literature,and to provide some references for scholars to study Fujian writers in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.
