The Choice And Reconstruction Of A Belief Carrier-Pujiu Temple Under The Background Of Folk Tourism

In the development of contemporary tourism,folk tourism,which has been placed as the priority of contemporary tourism development,is a trend of times.Increasingly,folk tourism become a way of entertaining and getting rid of life stress.Social value and economic benefit are brought by folk tourism have been approved by local government at various levels.As the key of folk tourism development,local characteristic culture become a driving force for people to explore the local culture more deeply,and make tourists' experience excellent culture expressions.The object of this study is Pujiu Temple,a belief carrier.As a Buddhist temple,the difference between it and others is “All temples don't relate to love except Pujiu Temple located in Shanxi province.” This temple is locality of Zhang Sheng and Cui Yingying's love story which had been progressed for many years and widely known until a book's appearance,Romance of the Western Chamber written by Wang Shipu,a dramatist of Yuan dynasty.Because of this love story,Pujiu temple had been acknowledged by people.This article mainly through field investigation,literature research and application of folklore theory research under the background of folk tourism,the choice of the belief carrier——Pujiu temple and the reconstruction of the temple space,the praying of the New Year's Temple Fair,the Love Culture Festival and the diversified development of Romance of the Western Chamber.On this basis,analyze the influence of national and local government and other factors on the existence of the belief carrier——Pujiu temple.Through the interpretation of the development and change of the belief carrier——Pujiu temple,it is concluded that it should follow the principles of sustainable development,locality and experience in the selection and reconstruction.Current situation is a time with fast-changing.Only possessing innovative thought whichkeep up with the times can folk tourism develop further.Nowadays,the choice and reconstruction of Pujiu temple's development is not one-step.It make current achievements because of many years exploration.Excellent scenic area deserves sightseeing while splendid culture requires developing and expanding.Building a scenic area which carries forward the local characteristic culture is not only a symbol of a city but also can continue to inheritance the excellent culture.In the process of investigating Pujiu temple,we make a comparison between it and other similar scenic areas and find some development modes which can provide references for Pujiu temple.We hope this will be helpful for the development of Pujiu temple in the future.
