This paper mainly focuses on the unique time node of the 17th-18 th century,combing and analyzing the interior space painting of China in this period from various angles.In the late Ming and From late Ming Dynasty to the Qian Long period in Qing Dynasty,under the background of prosperity of commodity economy and cultural exchanges between East and West,the changes of Chinese painting from the social strata of participants to the forms of expression of the pictures are discussed.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which summarizes the basis,purpose and method of this paper.The second chapter traces back to the development and characteristics of interior space elements in traditional Chinese painting,that is,the development process from conceptual and intentional description to gradually realistic description.Chapter three explores the relationship between the identity of painters and patrons and the development of interior space painting in the 17?18 century.The prosperity of market economy has promoted many literati painters to enter the art market,forming the trend that professional painters gradually replace literati painters to become the mainstream of the painting world.The changes of social strata of painters will certainly affect the changes of painting forms.The emergence of interior space is also a major factor affecting the depiction of interior space.Chapter IV focuses on the analysis of different painting forms of interior space depiction in the 17th-18 th century.During this period,interior space depiction in Chinese painting gradually transited from court to folk.Custom paintings of various folk subjects were prevalent and developed in an all-round way.Scroll paintings,New Year paintings,prints,palace pastes and so on appeared in the painting form.Different painting forms and styles of interior space depiction also exist.Chapter 6 compares the Chinese and Western indoor space description in the 17?18 century.Through the comparative analysis of perspective,space concept and the composition function and law of indoor space elements,it explores the commonness and uniqueness of Chinese indoor space description and Western painting under the background of the integration of Chinese and Western cultures.In short,this paper will first trace the development of Chinese interior space painting with time as a clue,and then systematically study the interior space description and related issues in Chinese painting in the 17th-18 th century,mainly discussing the artistic techniques,image concepts and semiotics of interior space description in Chinese painting in that century,as well as the symbolic and moral connotations of interior elements.In addition,the article also focuses on the analysis of the form of painting,patronage,painter identity,as well as the aesthetic of the times and the impact of Sino-Western exchanges on indoor space depiction,hoping to be helpful to the research of relevant personnel.
