The report is based on a simultaneous interpretation practice of the keynote speech--"Network Intelligence and Media Convergence" by Qiao Xiaoyan, the executive vice president of Wasu,at the 25th International Conference on Technology Convergence(ICTC 2017).In this speech, due to the obvious features of oral communication, some fuzzy information has been produced, which has put a burden on the interpreter in terms of understanding and analysis, thus affecting the output of the interpretation. Therefore, this report intends to solve the difficulty in interpreting the fuzzy information. The author classifies the appearance of fuzzy information in source language into three aspects:the fuzzy information caused by the logic ambiguity, the fuzzy information caused by fragmented sentences, the fuzzy information caused by overgeneralization.Under the guidance of Interpretative Theory, the coping strategies for the difficulties in interpreting different types of fuzzy information are proposed through practice and reflection, namely, addition and reorganization, supplementation and adjustment, summarization and omission.Through de-verbalization,the author analyzes and understands the meaning of words and phrases so as to accurately and completely deliver the information.
