This thesis delves into the marginalization of Asian American immigrant women during the second American feminist wave.It is composed of three major parts,concerning the internal factors,external impact,and case study of Asian American Reproductive Justice Oral History Project respectively.In addition to the background introduction in the first part,the first chapter studies double identities of Asian American women and their communities from the perspective of their race and gender.And the second chapter taps into the Asian American immigration legislation to explore the external elements that give rise to the marginalized position of Asian American women.The third chapter examines the Asian American reproductive oral history project to see how Asian American immigrant women's challenges and problems reflected in their lives during this era as well as their actions and movements that Asian American feminist leaders had taken to fight against the inequalities and injustices.
