Research On Puzzle Narrative Based On The Works Directed By Xin Yukun

Xin Yukun's films are unique in domestic films.By using puzzle narrative techniques,the deep identification mechanism of audience's object psychological consciousness is established in the image expression.In this paper,the works of director Xin Yukun are summarized and sorted out,and his works are analyzed from the surface to the inside and from the shallow to the deep.The narrative characteristics and rules of riddle creation inside and outside the visual images of director Xin Yukun's works are excavated by various theories,and the humanistic connotation behind the narrative mechanism of his works is further explored.Director Xin Yukun's riddle narration has its distinct personality characteristics.Firstly,puzzle narrative effect is created by using puzzle structure and circle structure.Information asymmetry mechanism is formed through the knowledge difference between the narrator and the characters,and block puzzle structure is constructed.The key clues are "displaced" to the end of the story to produce inverted puzzle structure.Labyrinth forms interactive aesthetic experience.Secondly,the director uses unreliable narration,suspense setting and open ending to construct riddle narration.Combining the deviation between the implied author and narrator's values in the film,the director forms intentional unreliable narration and unintentional unreliable narration.Four kinds of suspense settings,namely,putting the center of interest out of the picture,increasing information,excessive information and enlarging suspense,are formed.Effective control of suspense;the puzzle effect can be extended by breaking,inserting and returning open endings,which adds mystery to the uncertainty of the film.Finally,the director constructs symbolic Miniatures by means of prop symbols,character setting and metaphorical riddles in sound symbols,reveals the absurdity of people's identity by means of four prop symbols: medals,corpses,lambs and orangutans;hides the image of other heroes under the violent character of the characters,the lack of faith in the act of "worship Buddha",and conceals social contradictions.In the triangular relationship between characters,the use of voice "weakening" approach to create "aphasia" fog,for its narrative covered with a veil of mystery.From the perspective of structure,technique and symbol,this paper studies the narrative characteristics of director Xin Yukun's works and explores the uniqueness of his films,which has certain reference value for the creators of domestic riddle narration.
