A Study On The Change Of Marriage Culture Of Tujia Nationality In Xiushan County

As an important ethnic minority in China,Tujia nationality has a rich and colorful ethnic culture in the long history of development.Marriage culture is not only a key component of Tujia culture,but also the key academic direction for scholars to study Tujia nationality.Based on the research of ethnology and from the perspectives of anthropology,sociology,history and other disciplines,this paper makes a comprehensive exposition of Tujia marriage and it's culture changes through case study of Xiushan Tujia and Miao autonomous county and field investigation.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the paper consists of three chapters.In the first chapter,from the point of view of the development background of human primitive society,the traditional marriage culture of Tujia nationality is briefly expounded by combining customs with historical myths and giving a brief account of the two traditional marriage cultures of Tujia nationality.On the basis of field investigation in Tujia area of Xiushan,the second chapter shows the changes of Tujia nationality's modern marriage culture from the aspects of marriage concept,form,marriage etiquette and so on,and the elaboration of regional marriage culture.The trend and characteristics of its vicissitudes are analyzed.The third chapter summarizes the driving forces of Tujia marriage change from the three aspects of environment,law and culture,based on the field visits and the textual research of relevant historical documents.And the characteristics of modern national culture embodied behind its changes.Marriage is not only one of the conditions for the continuous development of the society,but also an important part of national culture.The change and development of marriage has become one of the key research direction in the field of ethnology.Marriage culture is not only a microcosm of national social culture,but also represents a nation's unique humanistic values and spiritual culture connotation.Therefore,the study of Tujia marriage changes can not only enrich the research field of the whole marriage culture,but also make a deeper understanding of Tujia culture,and provide more research directions for the culture exchange and integration between different ethnic groups in different backgrounds.
