In 1372,Ryukyu formally established diplomatic relations with China, thus drawing the curtain on 500 years of friendly relations. With the deepening of the exchange between Ryukyu and China, especially through the advanced technology and ideas brought about by the tribute mission, the overseas students coming to China and the thirty-six surnames of the Min people migrating to Ryukyu,China's influence has penetrated all strata of the Ryukyu society, and has a profound influence on the political, economic and cultural production of Ryukyu. In the first half of the eighteenth Century,Ryukyu began to edit family genealogy in order to maintain the clan,to revitalize the Confucian school and to revitalize the culture and education. At the same time, the social changes led by Cai Wen,such as encouraging the development of water conservancy and the development of industry and commerce, made the Ryukyu society flourishing and the social appearance renewed. This article discusses the change of Ryukyu society in the first half of the eighteenth Century, and analyzes the causes and effects of various aspects of Ryukyu society.
