Theme Of Painting And Hometown Complex—A Comparison Of Painting Creation Between Chagall And Chao Ge

Chagall and ChaoGe are both famous oil painters,one of whom was born in Russ ia at the end of the 19th century and lived in France for a long time.The other was a Mongolian born in the second half of the 20th century from China's Inner Mongo lia.The two painters with different cultural backgrounds and painting styles had a deep passion for their hometown,which we called home complex.Chagall's paintin g depicts his beloved ideal country,with love and nostalgia.While ChaoGe's painti ngs express his psychological impression,he depicted the mental state of his home town's people.The prairie landscape was also full of divinity and worship,express ing his love for his hometown.The two painters expressed their emotions in differ ent artistic ways,Chagall was dreamy and innocent,and ChaoGe was plain and ser ene.The first chapter of this paper combines the life of chagall and chaogo about t heir main themes of painting,and briefly describes their relationship with The Tim es.Chapter 2 discusses in detail the main painting theme of chagalll and chaogo,w hile comparing the home complex.The third chapter introduces the creative expres sion of hometown complex in chagal and chaog paintings,and the inspiration for my creation.The fourth chapter is about the exploration of self-creation.I hope to study different painters in the field of intercultural field through the study of this to pic,and I try to find the appropriate painting language and creative direction with multisystem exploration on the painting style.
