Zuozhuan,as a precious book in the pre-Qin period,not only reproduces the swords and lightsabers behind the banner waving in the Spring and Autumn Period,but also depicts the characters with different personalities without any trace.The emperors,princes,nobles,ministers of power and warriors are certainly the author’s recount.However,the women who were active in the long river of time,or had far-reaching insights,or had honey in their mouths,or used to gain power,who had also profoundly influenced the trend of the history.Starting from his specific cultural standpoint,the author opens the heavy curtain of history slowly and let the women sing songs casually.As a compilation of historical materials in the Warring States Period,the Warring States Policy reflects the unpredictable stories during this time,and is an important document basis for understanding the history of the period.With its rhetorical and wanton language and undulating plots,it records the political life and diplomatic strategies of the strategists during the Warring States Period.It also shows us the images of women in the Warring States Period.Although there is not much description about the women’s images,nearly twenty women,including women queens,noble wives and concubines,and civilians were vividly presented.The author drew them from behind the scenes to the front of the stage,which playing an important role in specific era,reflecting the brand of the times.This article takes the female images in Zuozhuan and Zhanguo Policy as the breakthrough point.The introduction part mainly combs the previous research results and the deficiencies of the female images in the two books from the perspective of literature.The first chapter classifies the typical female images in the two books in order to have a holistic perception of the female images.The second chapter explores the female images from the perspective of female characters.From the Spring and Autumn Period to the Warring States Period.Then,the third chapter reflects on the formation of women’s destiny in the chaotic society,and the fourth chapter analyses the creating methods of women and their aethestic standard,and explores the ways of depicting women’s images in the two books from an artistic point of view.
