"Buddhist Youth" is a popular online hot word in recent two years. As a social text, the wide spread and use of "Buddhist Youth" has attracted wide attention. To a certain extent,it reflects the ideological concept, value expression and emotional tendency of the post-90 s youth, and is regarded as the characteristics, labels or self-expression of the post-90 s youth. However, due to the application, distortion and commercial acquisition brought about by mass communication, the ambiguous attitude of "Buddhist Youth" can be negotiated in all matters,"Yes or No,Win or Lose" is regarded by the mainstream and the public as self-concealment and mockery that is not aggressive, lazy and can not withstand social pressure. The mainstream media also repeatedly calls for the return of youth's passion with a sense of responsibility and morality.Negative philosophies such as nihilism can be used to explain the spiritual decadence of the post-90 s generation.Of course, the involvement of youth subculture, sociological theory, cultural criticism and consciousness criticism also includes correct criticism of the inertia and negative effects of the Buddhist system. However,in the subjective feelings and values of the critics, the Buddhist youth is rebellious and stands on the opposite side of the times."Buddhist Youth" is also a distortion and misunderstanding of contemporary youth, but also as "outsiders" lack of deep understanding and take for granted moral preaching. This paper attempts to explore the true psychological vision of "Buddhist Youth" through the cultural representation of "Buddhist Youth" through the methods of documentation and cross-cultural research, dig deep into the anxiety, depression hidden under the surface of "Buddhist Youth" and "Buddhist Nature" and the problems of the times they represent, and make a reasonable analysis of how "Buddhist Youth" is distorted. The article is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter, the introduction mainly deals with the basic problems of "Buddhist Youth",including its origin, subject, research status, significance, purpose, value, research methods and so on.The second chapter mainly discusses the cultural representation of Buddhist youth and its reasons ofthe times, summarizes the three cultural representations of "Buddhist youth" facing mild resistance, depression of anxiety and narrative fragmentation, and briefly discusses the background of the times, which plays a major role: the development of new media technology and the completion of one-dimensional society, how these two factors affect "Buddhist youth".The third chapter mainly analyses how the hidden ideological dilemma of "Buddhist Youth" is,and how it is distorted and misunderstood under such background and cultural expression.Chapter IV focuses on the future of "Buddhist Youth".It explores how the post-90 s generation,as the main body of "Buddhist Youth",copes with their situation, and from what aspects should the outside world guide and educate young people, and tries to find the possibility of reconciliation between the mainstream and the "Buddhist School".
