Research On Landscape Paintings With Modern And Contemporary City Themes

With the development of economy and the improvement of people's material and cultural living standards,the scale of the city is continuously growing.With the advancement of urbanization,people's living conditions,ideas and emotional expressions have undergone significant changes.In order to comply with the painting concept of "pen and ink should follow the times",painters have gradually focused their attention on urban theme paintings and created sketches based on urban life or urban architecture.As a brand-new field of contemporary landscape painting creation,urban landscape painting is the product of urbanization and the development of human environment,and it is also the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese landscape painting.This article first analyzes the development background and evolution process of landscape painting with city themes.City themes have appeared in traditional paintings.In the early 20 th century,under the social background of industrial civilization,they appeared in the images in the form of urban building elements such as trains,factories and ships.With the development of urbanization and the emergence of high-rise buildings in modern cities,artists have gradually changed from industrial themes to urban themes in their painting creation.Secondly,based on the urban landscape painting,this paper analyzes and studies the urban landscape painting from three aspects: picture form,technique and style characteristics.From the point of view of picture form,it is expressed in three levels: the diversity of modeling composition,symbolic composition and linear expression.On the skill level,it is expressed through innovations in light and shadow,perspective,color,composition,etc.In terms of style,the influence of regions,times and other types on landscape paintings with urban themes is compared and analyzed.To sum up,through the above analysis of landscape paintings with city themes,under the influence of the combination of western painting and traditional painting ideas,the innovative application of modern painting techniques and forms has widened the development of Chinese landscape painting techniques and forms to a certain extent,and also provided some reference for the creation of later paintings.
