Ballade: Song of Guerrilla,one of Mr.Wang Lisan’s works,is unique in folk musical style and pianism.The paper analyzes,from three angles,its folk factors,narrativity and musical characteristics.Combined with the present writer’s personal performing experience,such dissections will be followed: instrumental-tone demonstration,octave chores,pedal employment,and speed-strength control during performances.As an adaptation,it not only preserves the charms of the original edition,but also gives full play to piano’s advantages,presenting the musical connotation of the national style,and a creative combination of oriental and occidental music features.
