Chinese-Japanese writer Chen Shunchen used all his lifetime to insist on writing,He is the writer who has own so much works and always been committed to culture exchange between China and Japan.Although his works are created by the Japanese,the most of the works are related to China,which filled with so many Chinese elements.For example,some works are choising the Chinese history as the background.Some works are set in the scenery of homeland in China.Some works introduce the native customs and another related knowledge of homeland.In his works,it is clear that the"homeland"mainly includes two dimensions:the one is the meaning of cultural homeland-China,which include Fujian and Taiwan.The other one is his birthplace-Kobe,Japan.However,it is probably because Kobe is the earliest opening port to the world,there lived many overseas Chinese.The description of Kobe mainly focused on recording geography,such as will be set the story in a place of Kobe,or intersperse the streets which he spent his childhood in his novels.Besides,by through reading of'his works,we can find that most of his writing tend to be the cultural significance of the"homeland"--China,which include Fujian and Taiwan.Therefore,the"homeland"writing in the works of Chen Shunchen mainly refers to the cultural significance writing in this text.In this paper,we will explore the"Homeland"writing which reflected in the content of Chen Shunchen's works,and sort out the representation on"Homeland"writing in the aspect of form,then check the radical reason of the "Homeland"writing.In this paper,I hope we can explore the pursuit of the motherland in Chinese origin writer Chen Shunchen's heart by analyzing his works,and provide some reference for Overseas Chinese Literature Study.
