Electric bicycle is one of the new transportations created by Chinese.With its economic and convenient characteristics,it has quickly become the first choice of short-distance cycling in rural and urban areas.Market demand has led to the development of electric bicycle industry,so the manufacturers and brand names of electric bicycles are becoming increasingly numerous.Brand name belongs to a group of words of special names of vocabulary,involving multi-disciplinary research perspective.In this paper,198 brand names of electric bicycles are taken as the research objects,and they are investigated in detail from the perspectives of linguistics,culturology and psychology.This paper analyzes the naming problems existing in the brand name of electric bicycle and puts forward the corresponding naming strategies,in order to provide the methods and ways of thinking for the systematic and detailed research of the brand name of electric bicycle.It provides a reference for the application research of electric bicycle brand name and another commodity brand name.The paper is divided into six parts.Introduction.The introduction part mainly includes four aspects.First part is about the object of study which are including defining the brand name of electric bicycle,and introducing the characteristics and methods of its naming.The second part is about the present situation of research.The research of foreign brand names focuses on the English brand name and brand translation,and research of the domestic brand name are mainly refers to naming rules,national culture and brand building.The third part is concerning the significance.It is excavated from the aspects of linguistics,culturology,economics and innovation,the research value of brand name of electric bicycle is excavated.The fourth part is about the research methods and corpus sources.In order to make the study deeper and persuasive,this paper mainly uses the methods of description and explanation,the combination of quantitative and qualitative,and comparison.The corpus of 198 brand names of electric bicycles is mainly collected from the major websites and the major physical stores in Jinan.Chapter one refers to the analysis of phonetic feature of the brand name of electric bicycle.Through the statistical investigation of the distribution of electric bicycle brand name in syllable,four exhaling,tone,tonal and homophonic,this paper explains the characteristics and laws of electric bicycle brand name in pronunciation.It reflects the characteristics of electric bicycle brand name in pronunciation,which is pleasant and interesting.Chapter two refers to the analysis of vocabulary feature of brand name of electric bicycle.This paper mainly explores the lexical features of electric bicycle brand name from the aspects of structure type,naming motivation,semantic feature and so on.As a special name word,the brand name of electric bicycle is mainly aimed at domestic consumers,which is characterized by concise structure,rich motivation,positive semantics and so on,which can reflect the characteristics of electric bicycles and corporate culture.In addition,the high frequency characters in the brand name of electric bicycle are counted,which are also related to the lexical characteristics,and the reasons are analyzed and summarized.Chapter three refers to the analysis of the social psychological characteristics of the brand name of electric bicycle.The psychological characteristics of consumers are closely related to lifestyle,daily language,psychological interaction and other factors.This paper describes four representative components of electric bicycle brand name,"elegant","green","love" and "new",are analyzed in detail as well as the social psychology reflected by them is summarized.At the same time,it also discusses the psychology of worshiping foreign countries reflected behind the brand name of transliteration words and transliteration words.Chapter four refers to the problems and strategies in the brand naming of electric bicycles.There are also some problems worthily paying attention to in the brand name of electric bicycle,such as "westernization",thunder assimilation,rubbing famous brand,pronunciation,non-uniqueness and so on.For the above problems,this paper also puts forward some corresponding solutions,such as uniqueness,standardization,innovation and so on.It is hoped that through the application of feasible strategy,these problems could be solved,and the more popular brand name could be created.Conclusion.The characteristics of electric bicycle brand name in voice,vocabulary,psychology,etc.show that the life system of brand name should be based on the characteristics of Chinese and Chinese social history,culture and national psychology.At the same time,the problems and solutions in the brand name of electric bicycle also show the practicability and application value of this paper.The innovation of this paper lies in the systematic investigation and analysis of 198 brand names of electric bicycles from many angles,which fills in the blank of this kind of systematic research on brand name.
