The Performance And The Teaching Research Of Francis Poulenc’s "Three Novelettes"

Francis Poulenc’s “Three Novelettes",composed from 1927 to 1959,consists of three piano pieces with different styles and beautiful sounds.This article provides the convincing theory support to the author in the thinking of the teaching research of this piano work through the sorting and analyzing of the related research literature at home and abroad of the "Three Novelettes" and Poulenc.The musical features of Poulenc and the features of the neo-classics showed in this three works are concluded in this article through the analysis of the creation background and the music characteristics of this three works.Finally,with the relevant theory knowledge of piano playing and teaching,researches and discussions are made about the contents involves in the playing and teaching of the “Three Novelettes”,and relevant suggestions are made with the learning experience of myself.In conclusion,teaching and researching this music work which has profound French characteristics and Neo-classical style,not only helps the learner master the playing skills of works alike,but also provides some reference to the teaching of piano teacher.This year is the 120 th anniversary of Poulenc’s birth.Through the teaching and research of "Three Novelettes",more people will know this work,understand Planck,understand French neoclassical music,broaden their artistic horizons,and do their little contributions for the research literature of Poulenc in China.
