Li Ding Yuan's Diplomat To Ryukyu And His Contributions

Over 500 years of diplomatic relations between China and Ryukyu,the Chinese emperor's coronation of the Ryukyu king was the most important content in the history of the two countries.During the Ming and Qing dynasties,when the king of Ryukyu asked for a knighthood,the emperor of China would invite him and envoy diplomats to Ryukyu.These envoys are not only the most important participants in the exchanges between the two countries,but also the witnesses of the friendship between the two countries.Li Ding yuan,a diplomat who made Ryukyu in the Qing dynasty,is the object of this study.At the same time,the author reducing Li Ding yuan's activities in Ryukyu and analyzing the historical value of his works to study the friendly relations between China and Ryukyu.Finally,the paper demonstrates Li Ding yuan's contribution to the communication between China and Ryukyu.
