| Writing is an output skill which involves the comprehensive ability of English learning.However,as far as the current evaluation of English writing teaching in high school is concerned,most teachers use traditional evaluation method,attaching too much importance to writing results,but they ignore the writing process.This traditional evaluation method can only assess the students’ current writing ability,but it can’t fully explore students’ potential writing ability.Therefore,in order to let dynamic assessment play a greater role in the English writing teaching,the teachers should establish a teaching model of English writing based on Dynamic assessment which combines evaluation and teaching.This study mainly discusses the teaching effects of dynamic assessment model in English writing class in the high school.This study mainly uses questionnaire survey method,teaching experiment method and interview method to answer the following two questions:(1)Can the Dynamic assessment model enhance high school students’ interest and confidence in English writing?(2)Can the Dynamic assessment model improve the English writing ability of high school students?This experiment selected Class39,Grade Two and Class40,Grade Two as experimental subjects in Xixian County,Xinyang City,Henan Province.40 students are in class 39 and 42 students are in class 40.Class 39 is as the experimental class,while Class 40 is as the control class.In order to answer the first question,this study conducted two questionnaires.The first questionnaire is distributed to both the experimental class and the control class before the experiment.The main purpose is to get the current situation of students’ English writing.The questionnaire after the experiment is only distributed to the experimental class.The main purpose is to test whether the construction of Dynamic assessment model and its application in English writing teaching can enhance students’ writing interest and writing confidence.The interview method is used as a supplement to the questionnaire survey method.To answer the second question,the writer selects the composition of the final paper in the first year as the pretest before the experiment.After making sure that there are no obvious distinctions between class 39 and class40 in writing ability,the teacher and the composition topics,Dynamic assessment model is applied to the English writing teaching in the experimental class while the control class still uses traditional Englishwriting teaching method.Four months later,the composition part of the final paper of the second year is used as the post-test,and Spss22.0 is used for data analysis to answer whether the Dynamic assessment model can improve the English writing ability of high school students.The experimental results show that the construction of Dynamic assessment model and its application in English writing teaching can not only enhance students’ interest and confidence in writing,but also improve their English writing ability.Besides,Dynamic assessment model can transform teachers’ teaching concepts,achieve good interaction between teachers and students,create an active classroom atmosphere and cultivate students’ subjective initiative.In conclusion,The experiment can be used for reference by teachers and researchers who are engaged in English teaching in high school. |
