Grassland Travel Notes-On The Creation Of Mongolian And Horse Series Oil Paintings

Walking,watching,feeling,painting,different world,different mood.The native painters of Inner Mongolia have long been rooted in the grassland,taking this as the motif of their paintings,and finding sub-themes suitable for themselves in the grassland.Although they are drawn from the same theme,they reflect the painting world in different hearts.Art provides infinite space for personalized recording and expression.Subtle and thoughtful feelings often happen instantaneously in the process.This paper discusses the author from the beginning to the grassland to go to the grassland every walk,watch,have a different feeling than the previous one.From the first sight of the grassland to many visits to the grassland later,the author's cognition of the grassland was gradually transformed from the image in the objective eye to the grassland in the subjective heart,and then the second grassland,namely the "image grassland in painting",was reproduced through the impromptu brushwork and subjective colors in the painting.Mongolians and horses are the images of grassland in the author's paintings,including the scenes of mongolians and horses running,resting,taming and being tamed.Mongolian horse originates from grassland,rises in the war,declines in the present age.Since the history,mongolians and horses have been bound by each other.Where there are mongolians,there are Mongol horses.The Mongolian horse is not only the co-founder of the glorious history,but also the best embodiment of the Mongolian national spirit.Based on this,the author will take Mongolian people and Mongolian horses in the grassland as the theme of creation,through the presentation of light and shadow in the painting,to convey the spiritual connotation of the Mongolian nation in the author's heart.
