Changyao And The Spiritual Construction Of Contemporary Western Poetry

Chinese western poetry has a long history and unique charm.Contemporary western poetry is an important part of the pedigree of Chinese new poetry and has made great contributions to the spiritual civilization of the Chinese nation.This paper argues that western poetry has special value because it always contains a kind of spirit of western poetry.Since contemporary times,the construction of the spirit of western poetry mainly began in the period of "new frontier fortress".The creation of ZhouTao,Yang mu,ZhangDeyi and other poets highlighted the sense of mission and historical responsibility of the nation,and with the creation of a western atmosphere and the display of the strong character and appearance,they inspired the Chinese nation in the spiritual confusion period and made it brilliant for a while.But also reveals the individual "existence" disregard,the western reality grasp is not enough and other defects.ChangYao,a "returning" poet of the same period,perfectly interprets the spirit of western poetry with his unique destiny of "slave" and "saint",which is closely related to the western plateau.ChangYao is the most critical point in the spiritual construction of western poetry.This paper aims to analyze the spiritual undercurrent of changyao and other contemporary western poets,summarize the basic connotation of "the spirit of western poetry",and explore the reasons for the formation and evolution of this spiritual tradition,so as to promote the development of western and contemporary Chinese poetry research and creation.The thesis is divided into three chapters: the first chapter discusses the cultivation of the poet's personality in the west based on the experience of changyao's exile.The west,with its vast,solid,vigorous and divine character,promotes the formation of a personality of self-strengthening and solitary meditation.With such a personality,the poet can face the adversity,not be confused bythe trend,always confirm the existence and value of the individual.The second chapter discusses the western poetry spirit to the literary sense of reality.For example,the creation of changyao and other poets,the artistic vitality is lasting,deep shock,because it follows a "naive realism";Different from the one-sided and profound style of vanguard and new realism,which considers one side and loses the other,this kind of creation gives consideration to the surface and deep layer of social life,as well as the clarity and darkness,and is easy to approach the truth and touch people's hearts.The third chapter discusses the continuation of the western poetry spirit to the national sense of mission.In the market society with the anomie of values,literature should not be willing to be on the edge,but should devote itself to the dialogue with the broad world,constantly thinking about the fate of the nation state and exploring the way out of the national spirit.ChangYao and others' poems are just like this,so they can call for poetry from the chaos of modernity and comfort the nothingness.
