In modern society where technology soars,aerial photography as a new shooting method has been widely put into practice by film and television production along with the renovation of aerial machinery.The technical dimension,artistic dimension and aesthetic dimension of aerial photography offers such a unique form that we shall delve into its significance through exploration and research.Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)aerial technology and art-oriented researches are the primary researching targets of this paper,various artistic displays of aerial photography based on technological developments have been demonstrated,different kinds of newly aesthetic characteristics have been integrated.UAV aerial photography has been so widely applied that it has become a universal narrative and aesthetic activity.Some programs are built directly on top of UAV aerial photography,some programs use UAV aerial photography narrative,others just to show the scene.No matter which level the program is based on,UAV aerial photography plays a significant role in any of these programs.This paper starts with the development of UAV aerial photography,first analyzes the application of key technology of UAV aerial photography from technology to art,then it analyzes the artistic presentation of UAV aerial photography,including the camera language and narrative role of UAV aerial photography.Secondly,the aesthetic experience in the special viewing angle of UAV aerial photograph is described,including the visual effects of defamiliarization and spectacle.Finally,it puts forward suggestions on the future development of technology and art in UAV aerial photography,discusses the contradiction and balance between technology and art in further development.
